2026 ENBL Most Valuable Player: Spencer Reaves, SYNTAINICS MBC




Spencer Reaves is the 2026 European North Basketball league`s Most Valuable Player.


Guard led SYNTAINICS MBC to a 7-1 record and advanced to the 2026 playoffs.


Reaves averaged 19.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals in 25.5 minutes of playing time.


A player with a jersey number 31 played in all games, shot 57.1% from the field, 43.6% from the three point line and 84.6% from the free throw line.


Reaves averages 14.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists in the Basketball Bundesliga.


Future ENBL MVP was born on December 23, 1995, in Newark, Arkansas.


Both of Reaves parents – Brian Reaves and Nicole Wilkett – played basketball at Arkansas State.


Spencer`s younger brother Austin played for the Wichita State (2016-2018) and Oklahoma (2019-2021), and represents the Los Angeles Lakers from 2021.


Young Spencer attended Cedar Ridge High School – his basketball coach was Isaac Middlebrooks.


He won four conference championships, four district titles and two state championships.


Spencer Reaves started his collegiate career at the North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina.


He led the Crusaders to the Conference Carolinas Tournament championship and into the NCAA Division Two tournament.


Reaves then transferred to the University of Central Missouri (2015-2018).


He started in 88 out of 89 games and averaged 17.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists in his senior year.


Career totals at UCM – 1 379 points, 354 rebounds and 204 assists.


Reaves started his professional career at the Azpeitia Juaristi in the Spanish third division (2018-2020).


He moved up to Tizona Burgos in Spanish second division (2020-2021) and then relocated to Germany in the summer of 2021.


Spencer initially played for Bundesliga Two squad Bayer Giants Leverkusen and is a Bundesliga player from 2022.


He weared colors of Bamberg Baskets (2022-2023) and Rasta Vechta – a team associated with Bob Marley.


Reaves signed at SYNTAINICS MBC in the summer of 2024, played for a Latvian coach Jānis Gailītis and won the 2025 German Cup.
