Remembrance Day: three games in Keila, Zagreb and Saudarkrokur

Three games are to be played on Tuesday, November 11 – the Remembrance Day, marking the end of World War One on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. Keila Coolbet will host Slovan Bratislava, while Dubrava Zagreb are facing Riga Zelli. Tindastoll Saudarkrokur will host Manchester Basketball.



Keila Coolbet vs Slovan Bratislava


Series history: Keila Coolbet (0-2) will face Slovan Bratislava (1-4) for the second time.


Slovan Bratislava lead the series, 1-0, after a 94-79 home win on January 15, 2025.


Keila Coolbet lost two tight games at Manchester, 80-84, on September 30, and at the Gimle Basket, 75-76, on October 29.


Slovan Bratislava are 1-1 on the road in the ENBL after a 90-78 win at Manchester on October 15, and a 105-108 loss at Dinamo Zagreb on October 20.



National championships: Keila Coolbet are 2-5 at the Optibet Estonia and Latvia league.


Keila Coolbet defeated University of Latvia, 91-81, on October 31, and then lost road games at Keila KK, 90-96, on November 4, and at Tartu, 79-90, on November 8.


Slovan Bratislava are 5-3 at the Tipos SBL.


Slovan Bratislava are on a four game losing streak in all competitions after a 75-84 loss at Prievidza on November 8.

Dubrava Zagreb vs Riga Zelli


Series history: Dubrava Zagreb (1-1) will face Riga Zelli (2-1) for the first time.


Dubrava lost at Spartak Pleven, 82-83, on October 1, and defeated Go+ Peja, 98-83, on October 22.


Riga Zelli won at Dziki Warszawa, 93-91, and at Go+ Peja, 72-83, before falling at the hands of Iraklis, 69-78, on November 4.



National championships: Dubrava Zagreb are 2-5 at the Premijer liga.


Dubrava won the home game against Šibenka, 80-73, on November 9.


Riga Zelli are 7-1 at the Optibet Estonia and Latvia league, and on a seven game winning streak.


Zelli won at VEF Rīga, 97-88, on November 1, and at Ogre, 87-65, on November 5.


They defeated University of Latvia, 99-77, on November 8.

Umpire 1: Juris Brūveris (Latvia) – one of the most experienced referees in Latvia, Optibet LBL referee for more than years, has worked at the 2021 EWBL final, ENBL referee from 2023.


Umpire 2: Filip Copic (Croatia) – Premijer liga referee from 2021, attended the FIBA camp in Belgium in 2024.

Tindastoll vs Manchester Basketball


Series history: Tindastoll (2-1) will face Manchester Basketball (2-1) for the first time.


Tindastoll Saudarkrokur are 1-0 on the home floor thanks to a record breaking 125-88 win against Gimle Basket.


Manchester Basketball are 1-0 on the road after a 79-66 win at Brussels Basketball on October 28.



National championships: Tindastoll Saudarkrokur are 5-1 at the Subway league.


Tindastoll edged out Stjarnan, 96-95, on October 31, and prevailed at Armann, 110-77, on November 7.


Manchester Basketball are 3-3 at the Super League Basketball.


They defeated Sheffield Sharks, 87-75, on October 31, and lost at the Caledonia Gladiators, 62-74, on November 2.
