Bogićević, Ioan, Legovich and Otten: know your Final Four coaches

ENBL VIMODROM Final Four 2026 presents head coaches of the participating teams.
Milenko "Mikica" Bogićević | SYNTAINICS MBC
Experienced Serbian coach took the coaching reins on February 16, 2026, succeeding his predecessor, Italian playcaller Marco Ramondino.
SYNTAINICS MBC sports director Silvano Poropat – a former Weissenfels head coach in periods between 2011 and 2021 – was an interim coach from January 27 until February 16.
Milenko Bogićević was born on December 9, 1976, in Krupanj, and started his coaching career in 1995, joining Belgrade club KK Beovuk 72.
He was an assistant to head coaches Mile Protić, Aleksandar Džikić and Srđan Flajs, before gaining his first head coaching experience between 2004 and 2007.
One of his players in the 2004-2005 season was Vladimir Štimac, who later played in BK Valmiera (2007-2008), won the silver medals at the 2014 FIBA World Cup and the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Later Bogićević served as an assistant coach at Polpak Šwiecie (Poland, 2007-2008) and Mega Basket (with Mihailo Uvalin, 2008-2009).
A new turn in Bogićević`s career took place in 2009, when he joined Saša Obradović and Polish club Turow Zgorzelec.
Duo`s next stops included Donetsk (Ukraine, 2010-2012), ALBA Berlin (2012-2016), Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar (Russia, 2016-2018), AS Monaco (2019-2020 and 2022-2023) and Crvena Zvezda Belgrade (2020).
Bogićević won three German Cups (2013, 2014, 2016), two Ukraine SuperLeague titles (2012, 2021) and a Russian Cup (2018).
On April 15, 2021, Bogićević joined Ronen Ginzburg and Ukrainian club Prometey – he was an interim head coach during the successful 2021 Ukrainian SuperLeague finals.
Later coach returned to AS Monaco, together with Obradović reached the 2023 EuroLeague Final Four and won the France championship.
In summer of 2023 Bogićević became the head coach of a Russian club Saratov Avtodor, replacing Branislav Vicentić – he worked there until February 2026.

Dan Ioan | CSO Voluntari
Romanian playcaller is the first coach in ENBL history, who has advanced to three consecutive Final Fours.
Dan Ioan was assistant to a Latvian coach Ainars Bagatskis, who posted a 18-5 record in the ENBL.
CSO Voluntari reached the 2024 final in Aarhus, Denmark, and won the 2025 title in Bratislava, Slovakia, becoming the first team to play in consecutive ENBL finals.
They also won the 2025 Romanian Cup at the Final Eight tournament in Oradea.
Bagatskis took the coaching reins of the most decorated Polish club, Śląsk Wrocław, and Dan Ioan was appointed as a new head coach of CSO Voluntari.
He received Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration and Masters degree in Hospitality Business Administration at the University of Economic Studies of Bucharest.
He also studied at the National school for Coaches – Scoala Nationala de Antrenori.
Ioan was the coach at the SCMU Craiova, 2017-2019.
He joined CSO Voluntari in August 2019 and is in his seventh season with the club.
CSO Voluntari entered the LNBM in 2019.
In March 2021, the club won the Romanian Cup for the first time and reached the LNBM semifinals.
CSO Voluntari won the second Romanian Cup in 2022 and advanced to the LNBM finals to earn a silver medal after a thrilling 1-3 loss against Cluj-Napoca.

Matthew Otten | Manchester Basketball
On April 1, 2026, Manchester Basketball finished the victorious quarterfinal series against Dinamo Zagreb, 183-178, to advance to the Final Four.
SuperLeague Basketball club advanced to the ENBL Final Four for a second year in a row, after Marc Steutel and the Newcastle Eagles reached the 2025 final at the Gopass arena in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Manchester Basketball punched a Final Four ticket in their European debut.
American playcaller Matthew Otten guided Manchester to the business end of the season.
Matthew Otten was born on December 8, 1981, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was raisen in an US Air Force (USAF) family.
He has Dutch ancestors and holds Dutch passport.
A young shooting guard played at the Yuba College (2001-2003) in California, and then at the NCAA D2 team San Francisco State (2003-2005).
Otten played professionally in Cyprus (Apollon Limassol 2006-2007), the UK (Cheshire Phoenix 2007-2008, Mersey Tigers 2011-2012) and Switzerland (Lugano Tigers 2008-2009).
The Netherlands became his home for five years as Otten represented Donar Groningen (2009-2011) and Rotterdam (2012-2015).
He won the Dutch league (2010) and the Dutch Cup (2011) with Donar Groningen.
Otten won the second Dutch Cup with Donar Groningen on March 20, 2022, now being the head coach.
He started his coaching career as an assistant at Den Bosch (2015-2017), working with Sam Jones and Sander van der Holst, and at the Dutch national team (2019-2022), working with Italian playcaller Maurizio Buscaglia.
On August 9, 2020, Otten became the head coach of a newly established club Basketball Community Gelderland, later becoming known as Yoast United.
Otten and Yoast United in their debut season advanced to the 2021 DBL Cup final where they lost to BAL Weert.
His next stint after Donar was at the Austrian side Oberwart Gunners.
Otten won the 2025 Austrian Championship, and then accepted offer from Manchester Basketball.

Marco Legovich | Dziki Warszawa
On April 1 Dziki Warszawa posted the biggest upset of the 2026 playoffs, eliminating two time Greece champions Iraklis BC in the best-of-two quarterfinal series, 173-165.
The Polish club returned to the Final Four after a historic bronze finish in 2025.
A year ago Dziki, led by Krzysztof Szablowski, defeated nine time German champions – and then the 2026 German Cup winners – Bamberg Baskets, in the best-of-two quarterfinal series, 167-165.
Italian playcaller Marco Legovich took the coaching reins on May 15, 2025.
On December 21, 2025, Dziki Warszawa used club option to extend Legovich`s contract until the end of 2026-2027 season.
Coach Lego comes from Adriatic seaside city of Trieste and previously has worked as an assistant at historical Varese.
He worked with American coach Tom Bialaszewski (2023-2024) and Argentinian playcaller Herman Mandole (2024-2025).
Varese, owned by legendary Argentinian Luis Scola, showed interest to play in ENBL in the summer of 2025.
Marco Legovich was an assistant coach at the 2023 Italian U20 team, working with head coach Alessandro Magro.
Magro, a former coach at Dabrowa Gornicza (2020-2021), gave Legovich first inside information about the Orlen PLK.
