Season Five to continue with 26 teams, one game added for Pool Three teams

Twenty six teams from 17 countries will continue the 2025-2026 European North Basketball league season. One more game will be added for every team in Pool Three to provide the same number of a home and away games as in other pools.
ENBL outlined four scenarios for a 27 team competition in January 2025.
A final decision to move to a 27 team competition was made in July 2025.
Twenty seven teams from 18 countries met and fulfilled the participation criteria by September 2025, and twenty six teams from 17 countries were ready to enter the regular season.
Fast forward 20 days into the regular season – no other teams were ready to join the competition at this stage, so the ENBL decided to continue with 26 teams.
The following games will be added for the teams in Pool Three:
KB Go+ Peja vs BK Olomoucko,
Dziki Warszawa vs Dubrava Zagreb,
Newcastle Eagles vs Iraklis,
Riga Zelli vs Spartak Pleven.
The exact dates will be announced after the teams mutually agree on new gamedays.
