A Visionary Leadership

  • Pavel Tuček, co-owner and General Manager, leads with innovation and precision. Fresh from celebrating a remarkable bronze finish in his first year at the helm, Tuček credits clear communication, tight deadlines, accountability, and ownership as the keys to success – principles he brought from the corporate world to the basketball court.

  • Libor Špunda, co-owner and club president, has been instrumental in steering BK Olomoucko’s steady rise. Together with Tuček, Špunda forms a dynamic leadership duo committed to excellence both on and off the court.

Andrew Hipsher is a Head Coach of BK Olomoucko – a former player at the University of Akron (1999-2004).

From the NCAA to Europe, Andy Hipsher brings high-level experience and a winning mindset to BK Olomoucko as the club makes its ENBL debut.

After a decade in NCAA basketball—working alongside legends like Bob Knight (Texas Tech 2004-2006) and Lon Kruger (University of Nevada at Las Vegas 2006) – Hipsher made the leap to Europe, where he has quickly made his mark.

As head coach in Denmark’s Basketligaen, he led Team FOG Næstved into the 2023 final, earning a silver medal.

Hipsher took over BK Olomoucko as a Head coach and immediately delivered results. In his second season at the helm, he guided the team to a bronze medal in the Czech NBL, laying the foundation for a new era of competitiveness in Olomouc.
