First ENBL game in Sinj, semifinal re-match in Newcastle

Two games are to be played on Tuesday, October 21. Alkar Sinj will face the Bristol Flyers, while the 2025 ENBL silver medalists Newcastle Eagles are hosting a bronze team Dziki Warszawa.



Alkar Sinj vs Bristol Flyers


Series history: Alkar Sinj (0-1) will face Bristol Flyers (1-1) for the first time.


Alkar Sinj traveled to Bucharest for their ENBL debut and lost against the 2025 champions CSO Voluntari, 72-92.


Bristol Flyers won at Hefte Helfen Bulls, 90-78, on September 23, and then suffered a heartbreak 69-70 loss against Donar Groningen on October 9.



National championships: Alkar Sinj are 3-1 at the Premijer liga.


Damir Milacic and his team opened domestic campaign with three consecutive wins against Dubrava Zagreb, Šibenka and Dinamo Zagreb.


Alkar lost at Split, 62-79, on October 17.


Bristol Flyers are 4-1 at the Super League Basketball, trailing only to Eurocup side London Lions.


Andreas Kapoulas and his team won at the Caledonia Gladiators, 93-91, on October 17.

Newcastle Eagles vs Dziki Warszawa


Series history: Newcastle Eagles will face Dziki Warszawa (0-1) for the third time.


The Eagles lead the series, 2-0.


Newcastle won at Dziki, 79-70, on November 26, 2024.


Both teams met at the 2025 Glasora Final Four on April 8 at the Gopass arena in Bratislava.


Newcastle won, 80-67, and advanced to the final.


Dziki opened the 2025-2026 season with a 91-93 home loss against Riga Zelli.




National championships: Newcastle Eagles are 2-4 at the Super League basketball, after a roller coaster start.


The Eagles won first two games against Caledonia Gladiators, 109-104, and at the Cheshire Phoenix, 88-70.


A string of four consecutive losses followed.


The Eagles fell at home against the undefeated London Lions, 77-82, and suffered three losses on the road against Sheffield Sharks, 73-78, Leicester Riders, 77-91, and Cheshire Phoenix, 85-91.


Newcastle will play its third game in five days.


Dziki Warszawa are 1-2 at the Orlen Basket league.


The Wild won at Krosno, 95-80, on October 4, before falling at the hands of Trefl Sopot, 80-86, on October 11, and Gornik, 69-71, on October 18.
