27 percent of Saudarkrokur population show up to witness Tindastoll go 2-0

Tindastoll Saudarkrokur set several ENBL records – highest scoring game, most points scored by team, most three points made – to defeat Gimle Basket, 125-88, on Tuesday, October 14, at the packed Sikio hall in northern Iceland.
This was a night to remember.
Saudarkrokur has a population of approximately 2600 people.
Seven hundred people or 27 percent of population showed up for Tindastoll debut in the ENBL.
It`s very, very impressive.
PHENOMENAL.
Actually, it`s one of the greatest fan engagements you can witness in sports.
The people of Saudarkrokur deserve the highest praise.
Players of the game
Seven Tindastoll players – Dedrick Basile, Julius Agustsson, Adomas Drungilas, Ragnar Agustsson, Taiwo Badmus, Ivan Gavrilovic and Sigtryggur Bjornsson – finished in double figures.
Ragnar Agustsson led all scorers with 28 points.
Irish-British forward Taiwo Badmus scored 22 points.
Ivan Gavrilovic checked out with a double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.
Javonte Johnson posted 23 points for Gimle Basket.
California Baptist University graduate guard added 10 rebounds and five assists.
Key stats
Both teams combined for 213 points, setting a new ENBL record.
Tindastoll became the first team in ENBL history, to score 120 and then 125 points.
Iceland team also set a new league record in three pointers made.
Tindastoll scored 66 points in the second half, just two points behind a league record.
CSO Voluntari scored 68 points in the first half against Inter Bratislava on April 8, 2025.
