Fyllingen Lions – the reigning Norwegian champions – will continue to play in the European North Basketball League.

The club enters the new season powered by its main sponsor, Haltbakk Bunkers.

For Fyllingen Lions, this is more than a game.

The club builds safe spaces for young people to grow, both on and off the court.

Fyllingen Lions is an open and inclusive club, committed to elevating Norwegian basketball.

We are a club for everyone who wants to achieve more.

Participation in the ENBL is an important step toward achieving our goals. A journey always starts with a first step.

For Fyllingen Lions, it was a big first step as one of Norway's premier basketball clubs entered the highly competitive European club basketball scene.

A year ago, the Bergen club rebranded itself – from Fyllingen Basket to Fyllingen Lions – and changed its approach to set new standards in the sport.

This transformation was made possible thanks to the support of two key sponsors: Meteva Sport og Helse and Haltbakk Bunkers.

The new chapter was a success, as Fyllingen Lions won their second consecutive Norwegian title, winning both the regular season and the national playoffs.

Fyllingen Lions defeated Kongsberg Miners in the best-of-five championship series, 3-2.

Dashawn Davis was named the Most Valuable Player and the Finals MVP.

Fyllingen Lions also secured their first European win, defeating 2025 Czech league finalist Basket Brno, 72-68, on January 15, 2025, at the STAREZ Arena Vodova in eastern Czechia.

Head coach Calix Black N'Diaye claimed his first win in the ENBL.

Fyllingen Lions hosted the first-ever ENBL game in Norway, facing Keila Coolbet on December 4, 2024, at Haukelandshallen.

The 2025 BBL Trophy finalists Bristol Flyers, 2024 ENBL Champions – Bakken Bears Aarhus – and 2025 German Cup finalists, Bamberg Baskets, also visited Bergen.

A crowd of 2,073 spectators showed up to witness the first-time visit by the nine-time German champions on February 5, 2025.

More milestones await as the world's second-largest sport is growing rapidly in Norway.

There were approximately 20,000 registered players in 2024. Basketligaen Norge, or BLNO, has 11 teams in its premier division.

The "Basketplan28" initiative was adopted in May 2024, with a target of reaching 30,000 players by 2028.

Bergen Airport (BGO) is the second busiest airport in Norway, located a few kilometers west of the city.
