Horton and Fidler light it up, Riga Zelli survive at Dziki to go 1-0

Riga Zelli erased a 15 points deficit and took control in the second half to secure a 93-91 road win against Dziki Warszawa on Monday, September 29, at the Hala Kolo in Polish metropolis.

Landrius Horton was voted as the FIBA Europe Cup Player of the Week a year ago.
He shined in his first ENBL game from the start.
Back-to-back-to-back threes with a foul – Landrius scored 10 consecutive points for Dziki Warszawa in the final minute of the first half.
The 2020 Columbus State University graduate finished the game with 35 points to tie the fifth best result in ENBL history.
Frankie Fidler proved to be a worthy opponent.
A 22 years old forward, fresh out of the Michigan State University, replied to Horton`s fireworks with a back-to-back threes after assists by Toms Skuja.
Riga Zelli newcomer finished with 27 points but missed his last two free throws.
The 2025 Polish Cup winner Jānis Bērziņš joined with 23 points on 5/7 shooting from the field and a 9/11 performance from the charity stripe.

Key stats
There were several runs during the first half capped by five consecutive threes in the final minute.
Landrius Horton and Frankie Fidler combined for 17 points in 50 seconds – one of the most memorable minutes in the ENBL history.
Dziki Warszawa led by 15 points, 26-41, with 3.33 left in the first half.
Riga Zelli cut the gap to 46-53, despite Horton`s fireworks.
It all went downhill for Dziki after the break.
The hosts got a chance to tie the game at 92 after an unsportsmanlike foul by Fidler with 1.38 left.
Ody Oguama missed the first free throw, converted the second but ball control ended with a missed three pointer by Ben Vander Plas, 92-89.
Horton scored a two pointer with 15 seconds left but missed on his last attempt after Fidler missed two consecutive free throws.

Riga Zelli improved to 1-0, while Dziki Warszawa dropped to 0-1.
