First ENBL game in Switzerland, season openers at Liepāja and Tallinn
Three games are to be played on Wednesday, September 23. The 2026 Estonian bronze medalists TalTech/ALEXELA will host the three time Norway champions, Fyllingen Lions. Half an hour later, BK Liepāja will face the Iceland finalists, Tindastoll. Last but not least, Pully Lausanne Foxes are facing the 2026 Austrian champions, HEFTE HELFEN BULLS.
TalTech/ALEXELA vs Fyllingen Lions
Series history: TalTech/ALEXELA will face Fyllingen Lions for the second time.
TalTech/ALEXELA posted a 89-71 win on December 16, 2025, at the Haukelandshallen and later advanced to the 2026 playoffs.
Estonian teams have a 2-0 record against the Fyllingen Lions.
Three time Norway champions faced Keila Coolbet on December 4, 2024.
National championships: Estonia and Latvia basketball league started on Tuesday, September 22.
Fifteen teams – seven from Estonia, eight from Latvia – have entered the competition.
TalTech/ALEXELA will host the EuroCup team Riga Zelli on Saturday, September 26.
Basketligaen Norge opens this Saturday.
Fyllingen Lions will face the guests from the High North, Tromsø Storm.

BK Liepāja vs Tindastoll
Series history: BK Liepāja will face Tindastoll Saudarkrokur for the first time.
Wednesday marks the fifth ENBL game in Liepāja.
Four games were played in the Windy City during the 2021-2022 season.
BK Liepāja hosted Borisfen Mogilev from Belarus on December 4, 2021, and won, 95-88.
The hosts met Basket Brno on March 2, 2022, and Šiauliai on March 30, losing both encounters, 64-104 and 81-83.
Šiauliai have played two games at Liepāja, as they defeated Tartu, 82-63, on January 18, 2022.
Liepāja posted its first ENBL win on October 20, 2021, winning at Valmiera Glass ViA, 82-69.
Tindastoll are visiting Latvia for the first time.
Last year they traveled to Slovakia, Czechia, Estonia and Kosovo, posting a 3-1 record on the road.
Tindastoll fell at the hands of Riga Zelli, 94-101, in their first playoff game on March 11, 2026.
National championships: BK Liepāja will open Estonia and Latvia league play on Saturday, September 26, at BC Pärnu.
Iceland regular season is set to start on Thursday, October 8.
Before that, Tindastoll will play three road games in the ENBL.
Iceland finalists are visiting BC Hipocredit on Sunday, September 27, and the Bristol Flyers on Wednesday, September 30.

Series history: Pully Lausanne Foxes will face HEFTE HELFEN BULLS for the first time.
It marks the first ENBL game in Switzerland and the first Alpine derby.

HEFTE HELFEN BULLS posted their first ENBL win on November 5, 2025, defeating visiting Fyllingen Lions, 108-94, at the Sportarena Walfersam.
It was the eighth game in ENBL history with 202 or more points scored.
National championships: Swiss regular season will start on Saturday, September 26.
Pully Lausanne Foxes will host GC Zurich.
Four days later they will play at Spinelli Massagno.
Austrian Basketball Superliga also opens on September 26.
Defending Austrian champions will host Raiffeisen Flyers Wels.
