Anwil Wloclawek, the first ever European North Basketball league champions, return to chase more glory.
When it comes to the ENBL inaugural season, the Rottweilers deserve eternal praise.
Basketball crazy Wloclawek and its loyal fans showed how it must be done from Day One.
On October 19, 2021, Anwil posted its first ENBL win, prevailing at Valmiera Glass ViA, 85-69.
On January 12, 2022, the Rottweilers hosted the first ENBL game at the Hala Mistrzów – Hall of the Champions – defeating Basket Brno, 86-82.
On March 9, 2022, Anwil secured the rights to host the first ENBL Final Four on April 6-7.
On April 7, 2022, Wloclawek club won the first international title in a packed final against Antanas Sireika led Šiauliai, 90-79.
Luke Petrasek was named the Most Valuable Player.
The 2018 EuroCup champion James Bell made the All Star team, while playing against another former Villanova player Isaiah Armwood.
Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz and his men finished the season undefeated with a 7-0 record.

Anwil Wloclawek doubled their international trophy case, winning the 2023 FIBA Europe Cup.
On April 26, 2023, Anwil defeated Cholet Basket at the La Meilleraie, 80-78, winning the home and away series, 161-155.

Anwil Wloclawek was founded in 1990.
Blue-white-greens started at the third tier and made it to the top flight in two years.
Their rise was meteoric as the Rottweilers finished runners-up in their first two seasons at the Liga One, trailing only to Slask Wroclaw.
Liga One transformed into Polska Liga Koszykowki (PLK) in the summer of 1997 and turned professional three years later.
Anwil finished in Top 8 from 1993 until 2014.
They made the playoffs from 2016 until 2020, and then from 2022 until 2025.
Trophy case includes three Polish Championships (2003, 2018, 2019), four Polish Cups (1995, 1996, 2007, 2020) and three Polish SuperCups (2007, 2017, 2019).
Center Szymon Szewczyk is the 2022 ENBL champion.
Igor Griszczuk was named the 1993 Liga One MVP.
Ivan Almeida (2018) and Victor Sanders (2024) repeated his feat.
The list of PLK Finals MVP includes Damir Krupalija (2003), Kamil Laczynski (2018) and Ivan Almeida (2019).
Slovenian playcaller Andrej Urlep (2002-2006) led the Rottweilers to the first Polish championship.
Croatian-Polish coach Igor Milicic (2015-2020) surpassed him with two Polish titles.
Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz (2021-2024) won the first two international titles.
Vedran Bosnić took the coaching reins on June 9, 2026.
Hall of the Champions – Hala Mistrzow – (capacity 4200) was opened in 2001.
Wloclawek is located 180 kilometers from Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) and 110 kilometers from Warsaw Modlin Airport (WMI).
