Eleven players score in the first half, Iraklis BC clear first hurdle


Iraklis BC used a strong start to defeat TalTech/ALEXELA, 76-63, and advance to the 2026 quarterfinals on Wednesday, March 11, at the Ivanofeio arena in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Wednesday`s game was about team effort for Iraklis BC.


Eleven players scored in the first half – no one in double digits.


Dimitris Moraitis – 2026 ENBL Defensive Player of the Year – registered two steals.


Justin Edler-Davis took over in the second half.


A former California State University at Bakersfield shooting guard finished with 18 points.


Lance Ware and Josiah Strong added 13 and 11 points respectively.


Taavi Jurkatamm was the top scorer for TalTech/ALEXELA.


Big man had 13 points.


Ran Andre Pehka – son of Rauno Pehka – added 12 points.

The Greeks outrebounded visitors in the first 20 minutes, 31-17.
