2026 playoffs to start on Wednesday, March 4

Sixteen teams from 13 countries – Germany, Greece, Romania, Croatia, the United Kingdom, Iceland, Poland, the Netherlands, Czechia, Latvia, Kosovo, Slovakia and Estonia – have qualified for the 2026 European North basketball league playoffs.
The field includes five teams with previous playoff experience – the 2025 ENBL champions CSO Voluntari, bronze medalists Dziki Warszawa, semifinalists Slovan Bratislava, as well as the 2025 quarterfinalists Valmiera Glass ViA and the 2023 quarterfinalists SIGAL Prishtina.
Eleven teams have qualified for the first time, headlined by the 2025 German Cup winners SYNTAINICS MBC and a two time Greece champions Iraklis BC.
The other newcomers include a Croatian duo – Dinamo Zagreb and Dubrava Zagreb, Manchester Basketball, the 2023 Iceland champions Tindastoll, seven time Dutch league champions Donar Groningen, five time Czech champions BK Opava, the 2025 Estonia and Latvia league finalists Riga Zelli, the 2025 Czechia bronze medalists BK Olomoucko and TalTech/ALEXELA.
The 2026 playoffs mark the first time when teams from Greece, Croatia, Iceland and the Netherlands have entered the postseason play.
The eightfinals feature a single elimination game at the higher seed – starting on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, and ending on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
Quarterfinals offer "best-of-two" home and away series (first pair 1-16 vs 8-9, second pair 2-15 vs 7-10, third pair 3-14 vs 6-11, fourth pair 4-13 vs 5-12) on March 17-April 2, 2026.
The winners advance to the Final Four – the dates and location are to be confirmed at a later date (target dates April 21-23).
