Battle of the wolves: King Szczecin vs BC Wolves

King Szczecin will face BC Wolves in the first semifinal on Tuesday, April 11, at the Arena Ostrów in Poland. Tipoff at 16:00.


Quick facts: King Szczecin won the Group B with a 6-1 record, securing one of two top seeds. Arkadiusz Miłoszewski`s men won the playoff series against KB Sigal Prishtina, 149-142. BC Wolves had a 5-2 record and advanced from a third place in Group to beat Budivelnyk Kyiv in the best-of-two series.


Series history: BC Wolves handed a single loss for King Szczecin, 87-84, on February 9 at Alytus and lead the series 1-0.


What`s at stake

King Szczecin may become the second PLK team in a golden game and secure an all-Polish final. BC Wolves may become the second team from Lithuania in a title game and reach the first final in club`s history.


Key matchup: point guards

Andy Mazurczak leads King Szczecin in assists (54), steals (14) and efficiency (147). He averages 9.4 points and has 85 points in total.

Ahmad Caver averages 20.2 points, 4.5 assists and 1.3 steals. He has scored 121 points in six games.
