Artis Ate and Aniwaniwa Tait-Jones combined for 46 points to lead Valmiera Glass/ViA past Fyllingen Lions, 93-75, on Wednesday, October 15, at the Vidzeme Olympic center in northern Latvia.

Artis Ate has played a major part in his team`s successes.
Valmiera captain scored 23 points on 5/8 shooting from the field and impressive 9/10 effort from the free throw line.
He went 4/7 from the three point line.
Ate also posted the best +/- ratio 27 in just under 28 minutes of play.
Aniwaniwa Tait-Jones was another big hitmaker for the hosts.
University of California at San Diego graduate guard erupted for 23 points on 9/17 shooting from the field and 5/9 from the charity stripe.
Young Kiwi added seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and zero turnovers.
Ayinde Hikim was the best scorer of the night.
The University of Massachusetts at Lowell guard scored 24 points for Fyllingen Lions.
Lars Espe had a game high 12 assists.

Fyllingen Lions tried hard but the hosts were too aggressive.
