Postgame quotes

Dragan Nikolić (Head Coach Dinamo Bucharest):
“Today we had to play without Dalan Ancrum, whose points we were missing today. But that shouldn't be used as an excuse. First of all, I would like to thank the Bamberg Baskets very much for the hospitality. It's always nice to be in Germany and today I played the first official game with my team here in Germany against a really traditional club. I'm happy with my team's game over the first three quarters. We played pretty well for 30 minutes. In the second half, Bamberg played with much more aggressivity overall and that made the difference in the end.”
Anton Gavel (Head Coach Bamberg Baskets):
“We started the game quite okay. As the game then started to become more physically in the first half we had difficulties getting into our plays. In the second half we managed to increase the pace of our game what caused problems for the Romanians. Here we were able to create open shots what you can see in our 22 assists. But 16 turnovers are still far too much. Overall, we are happy to get the win here at home. That takes a little of the pressure off our shoulders.”
