Thriller Tuesday, part two: first ENBL games in Bristol and Zwolle

Four games are scheduled on Tuesday, October 31. The Landstede Hammers Zwolle will meet the Svendborg Rabbits. The Bristol Flyers will host Uniclub Casino Juventus – a team from Jonas Valančiūnas native town.

Landstede Hammers vs Svendborg Rabbits


Series history: Landstede Hammers and Svendborg Rabbits will face each other for the first time.


Key matchup: Darius Quisenberry leads Zwolle with 14.8 points per game.


A Springfield, Ohio native honed his skills at the Fordham University – a well known NCAA school in the heart of Bronx, New York City.


Jaedon Elliott Willis averages 18.7 points and 6.4 assists for Svendborg Rabbits.

Young point guard played for the Notre Dame College (NCAA2) in Cleveland, Ohio.


National championships: the Landstede Hammers are 4-2 in the BNXT league.

Zwolle team posted three wins before falling at the hands of Heroes den Bosch, 71-75.

Landstede Hammers returned to the winning ways on October 22 with a 69-61 success over Basketbal Akademie Limburg. The second loss came on October 28 at ZZ Leiden, 65-74.


The Svendborg Rabbits have a 5-2 record at the Basketligaen.

Rabbits were undefeated until October 13, when they suffered a 85-110 defeat against the favorites, Bakken Bears.

Umpire 1: Bo Bundgaart (Denmark) – Denmark first division referee from 2002, FIBA referee 2010-2015.

Bristol Flyers vs Uniclub Casino Juventus


Series history: Bristol Flyers and Uniclub Casino Juventus Utena will face each other for the first time.


Key matchup: Tevin Olison shines for the Flyers.


Youngstown State standout averages 16.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists.


He registered double figures in nine games out of ten, while dropping a combined 50 points in his last two outings.


Billy Ray Ivey III lights the way for Uniclub Casino Juventus.

A Huntington Beach, California native averages 14.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists.

San Jose State standout leads Juventus with 2.4 steals per game.


National championships: the Flyers are flying high and have a 7-0 streak across all competitions.

Andreas Kapoulas men are undefeated since October 6.

They defeated the Newcastle Eagles, 97-83, on October 21 and added another success at the SGS College Arena with a 74-70 win against Cheshire Phoenix on October 27.

Juventus men are off to the hot start as well, as they have a 5-2 record in the Betsafe LKL.

Their hit list includes newcomers Mažeikiai, Neptūnas Klaipeda, Nevežys Kedainiai, Šiauliai and Pieno Žvaigždes from Pasvale.

Utena club put up a good fight against Vilnius Rytas, 96-103, on Saturday night.

Umpire 2: Eduard Udyanskyy (United Kingdom) – FIBA referee from 2017, Euroleague referee from 2018.
