Six time Kosovo champions check in: welcome, KB Peja!

KB Peja is the second club from Kosovo to play in the European North Basketball league.
SIGAL Prishtina debuted during the 2022-2023 season.
They made it to the quarterfinals thanks to wins over Zastal Zielona Gora and Šiauliai.
KB Peja was founded in 1993.
It was named KB Dukagjini from 2001 until 2005.
The club has won six Kosovo Basketball Superleague titles (1994-1996, 2004, 2013, 2023).
Peja also reached finals on nine more occasions: 1993, 2000, 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014-2016 and 2021.
Club`s trophy case includes six Kosovo Cups (1994, 1995, 1997, 2011, 2015, 2020) and two Kosovo Supercups (1997, 2015).
For three seasons, 2020-2022 and 2023-2024, KB Peja played at the Liga Unike – a joint
competition for professional clubs from Kosovo and Albania.
KB Peja finished second in 2021, won the championship in 2022 and finished third in 2024.
The 2022-2023 season was cancelled due to withdrawal of two teams.
KB Peja played at the Balkan International Basketball league instead, competing with teams from Israel, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Ukraine.
Hapoel Be`er Sheva/Dimona won the 2023 BIBL title while KB Peja finished second.
Last season KB Peja advanced to the Kosovo Basketball Superleague semifinals, where they fell at the hands of the regular season champs, Bashkimi Prizren, 1-3.
Meanwhile, Trepca Mitrovice won the 2025 Art Motion Superliga, Kosovo Cup and Kosovo SuperCup titles.
A year before Trepca Mitrovice won a Quadruple crown as they prevailed at the Liga Unike too.
KB Peja play their home games at Karagaq sports hall. Capacity – 2 500.
The club colors are black and yellow.

Peja has a population of 80 000 and is located 70 kilometers from Prishtina International airport (PRN).
