Smart and hard working management. Loyal fans. Great and well coached team.

Consistent work paid off on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 when the Bears won their maiden European title at the packed Sparekassen Danmark Basketball center.

Anders Sommer and his men defeated CSO Voluntari, 85-81, in a fast paced game with many highlights.

DeAndre Pinckney was crowned as the Most Valuable Player of the Final Four.

Malik Parsons was selected in the All Star team.

Bakken Bears added nine more wins after that memorable night.

Aarhus team finished the Basketligaen season with a 28-4 record.

The Bears stormed into the playoffs and posted seven consecutive wins.

Aarhus prevailed against the Svendborg Rabbits in the semifinals, 3-0.

The Bears have won the Danish championship 22 times, including eight consecutive triumphs from 2017 on.

The Bakken Bears are regular participants in the European competitions since 2004, including three seasons in the Basketball Champions league: 2016-2017, 2020-2021 and 2022-2023.

Anders Sommer now has nine titles with the Bakken Bears, including five Danish championships (2020-2024), three Danish cups (2020-2021, 2023) and the ENBL trophy in 2024.

Sommer joined the Aarhus club in November 2019 and served as an assistant coach until June 2021.
