Polski Cukier Start Lublin spoil home opener for Svendborg Rabbits

The 2023 ENBL bronze medalists, Polski Cukier Start Lublin, posted their first win after a 102-62 success against the Svendborg Rabbits on Wednesday, November 8, at the Rise Sparekasse Arena in the Danish archipelago.


Players of the game

All ten players scored for Start Lublin.


Filip Put scored 17 points on 8/10 shooting from the field.

Power forward added nine rebounds, two steals and one block.


Bartlomiej Pelczar and Trey Wade had 15 points each.


Jabril Durham (Arkansas) tied the second best result in steals with six makes.

Hameir Wright led Svendborg Rabbits with 21 points.


A former Washington and North Texas power forward grabbed 16 rebounds, tying the second best result in league`s history.


Key stats

Start Lublin outrebounded Svendborg Rabbits, 54-37, despite Wright`s heroic effort.


Artur Gronek`s men dominated in the paint, 50-16.

The visitors scored more points on fast breaks, 27-12.


Last but not least, Lublin`s bench outscored Svendborg, 57-12.


Start went 14/31 from the three point line – three makes short from tying ENBL record.
