Gach and Kostrzewski exchange daggers, King Szczecin tie the game at Sigal Prishtina

What a game! Both Gach hit a go-ahead three pointer for Sigal Prishtina with 19.1 seconds left, but Mateusz Kostrzewski`s dagger from the right corner tied the game at 64 for King Szczecin on Wednesday, March 8, in Prishtina, Kosovo.

Both Gach scored the most important field goal for the home team with 19.1 seconds to go.


Utah standout last summer played for Orlando Magic at the NBA Summer league and two months ago signed a contract at Kosovo capital.


Gach finished the game with 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field, including a huge 4-of-7 effort from the three point line.


Derrick Wilson posted 14 points.


Prishtina guard connected 4-of-5 shots inside the three point line and 3-of-5 from the charity stripe.


Nate Grimes joined Prishtina last week and checked in with 11 points on 5-of-5 shooting from the field.


Fresno State power forward made his single throw and grabbed six rebounds in less than 18 minutes.


Dardan Berisha had four points.


Mateusz Kostrzewski led King Wilki Morskie Szczecin with 18 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the field, including a magic 3-of-4 from the three point land.


His last three pointer went in with 3.0 seconds left to tie the game at 64!


Phil Fayne had 13 points on 5-of-10 accuracy from the field and 3-of-6 from the free throw line.


Fayne tied the game at 61 with 40 seconds to go after assist from Andrej Mazurczak.

Zach Cuthbertson scored 12 points and grabbed seven boards.


A 2023 ENBL regular season MVP registered two steals and one assist.


Andrzej Mazurczak chipped in with nine points, 10 assists and two steals.


Key stats

King Szczecin starters outscored Sigal Prishtina, 54-48.


Their teamwork helped to tie the game at 61-61 and 64-64.


The Polish team had 17 assists on 22 field goals, including 10 dimes by Mazurczak.


Mazurczak “Norris” shared the ball with Fayne and Kostrzewski.


Szczecin ranger had three assists during the last 80 seconds of regulation.


Mazurczak grabbed offensive rebound before he found Kostrzewski at the three point line with 77 seconds left.


Kostrzewski scored 8-of-last-12 points for Wilki Morskie.


Szczecin team finished the game with a 10-4 run.
