Dziki Warszawa defeat the champions to reach the 2026 final


Dziki Warszawa went on a 13-0 run midway the third quarter to turn the tide and defeat the 2025 champions CSO Voluntari, 87-80, in the first semifinal of the 2026 ENBL VIMODROM Final Four.

MVP, MVP – Dziki fans supported Landrius Horton as he sank two free throws for a 87-80 lead with 9.9 seconds to go.


A 27 years old shooting guard from Decatur, Alabama scored 19 points on 7/14 shooting from the floor and 2/3 from the charity stripe.


Columbus State star had six rebounds, one assist, zero turnovers, one steal and a team high tying efficiency rating of 19.


Tahlik Chavez led all scorers with 21 points on flawless 4/4 shooting from the three point line.


A 25 years old shooting guard from Arlington, Texas played for Iona and Rick Pitino, before finishing his NCAA career at Louisiana Tech.


Darnell Edge scored 13 of his 17 points in the second half.


A former Fairleigh Dickinson University point guard had two assists and two steals.


Solomon Young scored 17 points for CSO Voluntari on amazing 5/6 shooting from the floor and 4/4 from the free throw line before he was fouled out.


Sacari Anim had 19 points, while Mike Caffey and Kodi Justice scored 12 points each.



Key stats

CSO Voluntari committed two fouls in a little over five minutes but they turned into a five point loss after Tahlik Chavez and Darnell Edge sank five consecutive free throws for a 11-7 lead.


The Romanian club answered with two consecutive three pointers by Sacari Anim and Solomon Young to tie the game at 13.


Tahlik Chavez responded with a four point play and scored 16 points during the first 20 minutes, while Dziki Warszawa led by as much as seven points, 34-27, with 5.11 left in the first half.


Solomon Young took the game in his hands after CSO Voluntari timeout and scored seven quick points, including a steal, dunk and a three, to start a 7-21 run.


Young scored 15 points on a perfect 5/5 shooting from the floor and 2/2 from the free throw line as CSO Voluntari finished the first half with a 41-48 lead.


Landrius Horton missed a three at the buzzer but scored seven quick points at the start of the second half to tie the game at 53.


CSO Voluntari regained a 53-56 lead, followed by a 13-0 Dziki run, 66-56.


Landrius Horton and Darnell Edge combined for 24 points in the second half to lead the charge.


Dziki scored several three pointers in the fourth quarter to fought off CSO Voluntari counter attack.


We will rock you – blasted from the speakers as Darnell Edge converted a three in unfinished four point play for a 78-69 Dziki lead.


Darnell Edge made another three pointer for a 81-71 lead with 2.38 left.


Game notes

Dziki Warszawa improved to 9-3, while CSO Voluntari dropped to 10-2.


Marco Legovich and The Wild won the quarterfinal series against #2 Iraklis BC, and then eliminated #3 CSO Voluntari.


Dziki Warszawa will play in their first European final on Thursday against the winners of a duel between SYNTAINICS MBC and Manchester Basketball.


One thing is certain – they have conquered their second European medal, surpassing 2025 results.


CSO Voluntari entered the floor via basket-ball shaped tunnel, accompanied by Gala tune Free from desire.
