2025 playoffs are set after victorious Newcastle Eagles top Group A

The 2025 European North basketball league playoffs are set after the Newcastle Eagles defeated Tartu Ulikool Maks&Moorits, 79-58, on Wednesday, February 5, at the University of Tartu sports hall in southern Estonia.
Marc Steutel and Newcastle Eagles ended the 2025 regular season on a high note.
Tyneside boys finished first in Group A to set the quarterfinal series against...the 2024 ENBL champions Bakken Bears.
A year ago the title hunters needed overtime at the Sparekassen Danmark Basketball center to hold back the high flying Eagles.
The 2024 ENBL finalists, CSO Voluntari, finished second in Group A and will meet the 2024 Polish Cup winners Legia Warszawa.
Nine time German champions, Bamberg Baskets, will face ambitious and stylish Dziki Warszawa.
Last but not least, undefeated Inter Bratislava will be challenged by Valmiera Glass ViA.
