Šiauliai-7bet (2-1) fell in a 18 point hole at the halftime, but dug itself out to beat depleted Tartu University/Maks&Moorits 82-63 on Tuesday, January 18, at the Liepāja Olympic Center in western Latvia.

Shooting guard missed all four field goal attempts in the first half but exploded after the break.
Stankevičius made 6-of-8 shots from the field, including a 4-of-6 effort from the three point line, and connected all four free throws.
He also grabbed seven rebounds, dished out three assists and stole the ball three times.
Paulius Danisevicius led all scorers with 21 points on excellent 8-of-10 shooting from the field and 3-of-3 from the charity stripe.
Forward had six assists and four steals too.
Nemanja Bezbradica made 3-of-5 three pointers and scored 12 points in total.
Gerald Isaiah Armwood posted a double-double.
Former Villanova and George Washington standout had 11 points, 12 rebounds and two blocked shots.
Martynas Varnas also added a double-double, despite missing all nine three point attempts.

Robin Kivi led Tartu University with 16 points.
Forward scored 14 points in the first half but missed all five three point attempts afterwards.
Emmanuel Wembi had 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Lenoir-Rhyne star scored 13 points in the first half.
Oliver Suurorg also scored 14 points before he was fouled out.

Tartu University outrebounded Šiauliai-7bet 27-16 in the first half.
Estonian Cup winners scored more second chance points 13-6 and shot the ball better for a 46-28 lead at the half.
Šiauliai shut down Wembi and Kivi in the second half and held these two to three points.
Stankevičius and Varnas stepped up to outscore Tartu 27-17 after the break.
Šiauliai had 16 assists on 18 field goals in the second half and went on some fast breaks too.
The Lithuanian team outscored opponents 54-17 in the second half.

Antanas Sireika`s team improved to 2-1 before the clash against Liepāja.
The Sun City fielded only eight players.
Šiauliai missed its best scorer Jonathan Elmore and the best rebounder Giedrius Staniulis.
Tartu University was even more shorthanded.
Nikolajs Mazurs team played without top guys like Adomas Drungilas, Edmunds Elksnis, Hendrik Eelmae and Mart Rosenthal.
